My favorite denim jeans for autumn are light-blue - Levi's 501 Crop, mid-blue straight-leg jeans - Arket Crop Strech Jeans, and cream pair - model Lucy from Outland Denim. I will surely add my fave pair (model Harriet from outland Denim) to my winter capsule - it's a classic that always looks great with oversized sweaters, snow boots, and my Hunter wellies. However, I completely disagree with people who say that skinny jeans are out of style. This year, you can only see the straight-leg model in my autumn capsule because this style looks the best with the shoes I mostly wear during the fall months. When building my capsules, I usually opt for high-waisted skinny jeans in black or dark blue and a cropped mid-waist model with a straight leg in three shades - light blue, mid-blue, and off-white. And there is no one good answer here because when trying to find the perfect pair of jeans, you should not look at what is trendy but at what you feel best and most comfortable in. I often get questions about what cut/brand is best to choose and how many pairs of denim should be in the capsule wardrobe. Jeans are one of my closet's favorite and most worn clothing categories. Almost every fashion blogger I followed had a black biker jacket in their wardrobe, so I also bought it. For example, I thought I desperately needed a leather jacket a few years ago. The fact that I decided to include 3 blazers and mostly sweaters in my capsule doesn't mean that you need to have the same pieces in your autumn closet. Instead, I focused on sweaters, classic jeans, comfortable shoes, and timeless outerwear.Īs I always say, when building your dream wardrobe, put your actual needs, fashion preferences, favorite color palette, and current lifestyle first. I’ve figured out a simple way for beginners to make a color palette without becoming overwhelmed by choice I’ve made about a million color palettes, so I’ve got it down by now. Making the wrong color palette or restricting yourself to few colors won’t make you very happy with your wardrobe. That is why you don't see dresses, suits, elegant tops, or high heels in my visuals. But, there’s a lot of hullabaloo out there. And today, I finally prepared a whole post with the final overview of my autumn capsule and each category of clothes and accessories.īecause I continue the low-buy/no-buy challenge and don't have to follow a specific dress code in my workspace, I focused on comfort and practicality while building my seasonal capsules this year. For the last weeks, I have been collecting some inspiration on Pinterest. Usually, it's a time when the weather (here where I live) starts to change. Personally, I like to build my autumn wardrobe in mid-September. As most of you already know, I love FALL! It's my favorite time of year, and one of the reasons is autumn fashion - I just can't imagine my wardrobe without all these neutral colors and warm textures!
