Grey is morally ambiguous for in war every side feels they are right. In a darker appearance it is dauntless and threatening. Red is versatile, a lighter shade is louder and can cause fear in their opponents. The earthy tones of a tawny brown match better with a royal purple hue.įor these warriors only a blood red would suffice. Brown is more true in my mind, for in some Native American languages ‘Pukwudgie’ means “ person of the wilderness”. Favoring these healers one could expect grey to be selected since the Pukwudgie beings themselves have grey skin- however I personally find grey to be too dreary for this house. On the nature that this house represents the heart- purple seemed only a natural choice. The shade of yellow is bright and electric, matched by white- which is opposite to the palette of horned serpent, the Sioux believe these two beasts are mortal enemies. Since thunderbirds can appear in a variety of storm colors the most prominent two were selected (that and these two were the ones of the beast in the movie). Additionally blue was selected because it is house founder Isolt Sayre’s favorite color. The shade of blue is darker, mixed with teal, but not quite navy blue or other more bruised color- more of a mysterious water hue. While there are no official colors representing each House at Ilvermorny, I have designed these concepts based on different House aspects.ĭue to the fact that horned serpents can appear in the colors of blue, black, and white (other colors probable but we only know a visual for this one). As always, there is one Captain per team. There are 21 House titled positions for Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, Pukwudgie, and Wampus (84 overall though doubling is allowed) plus students are not restricted to only play one position. Every student at Ilvermorny is given the opportunity to play on a Quidditch team if they so desire. Students are allowed to play on more than one team. Basically instead of there being just the one Quidditch Cup as held at Hogwarts where they have only six games in the entire year- Ilvermorny is quite different and takes great interest in the sport. For this headcanon / fanfic there will be multiple official teams per the four Houses (plus the exciting mixed teams). Due to Ilvermorny possessing a wild amount of students having just one Quidditch team per House would be infuriating. Metasequoia trees were planted along the street in the early 1970s when the Ministry of Internal Affairs officially designated the road as a “boulevard.” At that time, the saplings were only 3 to 4 years old and their branches stretched sparsely out into the sky now, the trees have grown so high that they seem to block out the sun! Bigwigs does pretty much everything that Deadly Boss Mods does but is less intrusive by default. This optional autoresponse will let whoever whispered you know you're kinda busy and tell them how much health the boss has left so they know if things are going poorly.Īlternative: Bigwigs. What I really love, however, is a tiny feature that auto replies to in-game messages while you're in a boss fight. Raid and dungeon timers are synchronized between other members of your group, which keeps everyone on the same page even if one player accidentally disconnects. Alerts and camera effects will warn you of dangerous attacks or give you simple instructions. With this addon (and its other versions for older expansions) installed, you won't have to painstakingly memorize every boss fight. The other major addon that you shouldn't be without, Deadly Boss Mods makes World of Warcraft's complex boss fights a little more approachable by providing real-time alerts to keep you one step ahead. Not only will it help you up your game, its optional tools are a godsend, like being able to see the talent choices and item level of your party members. If you're playing a damage-dealing specialization, I cannot stress how important it is to have Details. Best raiding addons Details! Damage Meterĭetails! Damage Meter is a very accurate graphical DPS meter that shows how much damage you and everyone in your party is doing by sifting through the combat log. Just beware, if you want to use ElvUI, install it first before bringing more addons into the fold because it doesn't always play nice. I particularly love how the action bars behave in ElvUI, and its built-in addons mean you won't have to fuss with other addons like OmniCC. There are class-specific setups that emphasise the interface elements most important to your role, and the settings have a ton of options to play with. One of my favorite parts about ElvUI is that it comes with an in-game setup process that'll help tailor the UI to suit your needs. But even if you decide to stick with manually updating it, what ElvUI brings to the table makes the sacrifice more than worth it. Historically, you've always had to install and update ElvUI manually, and while this isn't too much of a chore, there are a number of newer addon managers popping up that allow you to update it along with your other addons. The tradeoff, of course, is that you're also getting rid of the fantasy-themed UI altogether. ElvUI replaces every single user interface element with a sleek redesign that is a lot more modern and readable. This is one of the most popular total conversion addons for World of Warcraft. Among the most breathtaking is the descent of dark-clothed warriors from above, in a scene so expertly lit in the darkness that the wires on which they’re suspended remain unseen by the audience. Photo by Stephanie Berger, courtesy of The Shed.Ĭentral to both the theme and the production are the movement choreography by Akram Khan and martial arts choreography by Zhang Jun (with special thanks to Yuen Woo-Ping), offering an array of contemporary dance styles and kung-fu training and fight sequences around which the story revolves. PeiJu Chien-Pott (below) with members of the chorus. They are augmented by reverberating sounds (Brandon Wolcott) and an original score and remixes of songs by Australian singer-songwriter Sia (by The Haxan Cloak, with additional remixes by Arca), to underscore the feelings of the one-dimensional characters and their experiences. The production design (original concept by Tim Yip) employs an extensive artistic team to create an environment of eye-popping and mood-enhancing stimuli intended to astonish, though sometimes resulting in an overload of “everything but the kitchen sink.” The visuals integrate character-defining costumes (Montana Levi Blanco), expressive lighting (by Tobias Rylander), videos (Leigh Sachwitz), fog and special effects (Jeremy Chernick) into a minimalist set (Mikiko Suzuki MacAdams), comprising an abstract mountain, a metal ladder and elevated runways, and a sky of dangling white fabric strips that move up and down with the action. But even those action scenes become over-extended and tedious, though fully in keeping with the show’s repeated message, “For the timeless, time means nothing.” For the audience, editing and pacing mean a lot. The performers’ acting and singing are at best stilted and amateurish (veteran stage and screen actor David Patrick Kelly delivers the most satisfying portrayal as the wise old Kung-Fu Grandmaster Lone Peak), with a company that was obviously cast for its expertise in the martial arts and dance, not musical theater. Referencing traditional Chinese philosophy, movement, and imagery, the clichéd saga of good versus evil, life and death, the magical quest for immortality, and the struggle to control it is set in present-day New York and eighteen years into the future (while the details of the slow-paced narrative are not always clear in the presentation’s minimal dialogue and paramount visuals, the specifics are explained in the program notes). For its opening 2019 season, The Shed – a central feature at the new Hudson Yards – presents the world-premiere of Dragon Spring Phoenix Rise, in keeping with its mission of “commissioning original works of art, across all disciplines, for all audiences.” Designed specifically for the towering and versatile space of The McCourt, the “kung-fu musical,” conceived and directed by Chen Shi-Zheng and written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger (screenwriters of Kung Fu Panda), takes the form of a multimedia arena spectacle (here with seating for 1200 spectators), holding greater appeal for fans of theme-park or casino-style entertainment and action movies than aficionados of Broadway-quality theater. My favorite denim jeans for autumn are light-blue - Levi's 501 Crop, mid-blue straight-leg jeans - Arket Crop Strech Jeans, and cream pair - model Lucy from Outland Denim. I will surely add my fave pair (model Harriet from outland Denim) to my winter capsule - it's a classic that always looks great with oversized sweaters, snow boots, and my Hunter wellies. However, I completely disagree with people who say that skinny jeans are out of style. This year, you can only see the straight-leg model in my autumn capsule because this style looks the best with the shoes I mostly wear during the fall months. When building my capsules, I usually opt for high-waisted skinny jeans in black or dark blue and a cropped mid-waist model with a straight leg in three shades - light blue, mid-blue, and off-white. And there is no one good answer here because when trying to find the perfect pair of jeans, you should not look at what is trendy but at what you feel best and most comfortable in. I often get questions about what cut/brand is best to choose and how many pairs of denim should be in the capsule wardrobe. Jeans are one of my closet's favorite and most worn clothing categories. Almost every fashion blogger I followed had a black biker jacket in their wardrobe, so I also bought it. For example, I thought I desperately needed a leather jacket a few years ago. The fact that I decided to include 3 blazers and mostly sweaters in my capsule doesn't mean that you need to have the same pieces in your autumn closet. Instead, I focused on sweaters, classic jeans, comfortable shoes, and timeless outerwear.Īs I always say, when building your dream wardrobe, put your actual needs, fashion preferences, favorite color palette, and current lifestyle first. I’ve figured out a simple way for beginners to make a color palette without becoming overwhelmed by choice I’ve made about a million color palettes, so I’ve got it down by now. Making the wrong color palette or restricting yourself to few colors won’t make you very happy with your wardrobe. That is why you don't see dresses, suits, elegant tops, or high heels in my visuals. But, there’s a lot of hullabaloo out there. And today, I finally prepared a whole post with the final overview of my autumn capsule and each category of clothes and accessories.īecause I continue the low-buy/no-buy challenge and don't have to follow a specific dress code in my workspace, I focused on comfort and practicality while building my seasonal capsules this year. For the last weeks, I have been collecting some inspiration on Pinterest. Usually, it's a time when the weather (here where I live) starts to change. Personally, I like to build my autumn wardrobe in mid-September. As most of you already know, I love FALL! It's my favorite time of year, and one of the reasons is autumn fashion - I just can't imagine my wardrobe without all these neutral colors and warm textures! Wish I could invite the neighbor over for tea. Have a greenhouse that could feed a city. Some places are so banal I don't know why they're there and I don't even care any more. I think they've changed the setting up to 85%, and that's after other changes. I haven't played for a long while, maybe 8 months, after played EA for a whole year. With the first game so good, they should have trusted their instincts. Why the developers ever listened to a few comments about why the main character was a girl and other such silly stuff, I'll never understand. I liked how the story was going originally with the tension between sisters and finding that lost man, AND the alien. I don't care about the alien, even after Emily's poem. I have realized that the story is, or must be, very short. So instead of trying to follow the bread crumbs of the game story, just think of places you haven't been before, then go there. Deep Purple Vents advertisement The Deep Purple Vents is. This page talks about the Deep Purple Vents biome, one of many Subnautica Biomes. Truly, believe me, Below Zero is such a small and short game you should only defer to a guide if you already tried and got stuck. Welcome to IGNs Subnautica: Below Zero guide. _Harbinger seems to have suggested some quality guides, use em if you need em.īut also consider spending a bit of time trying to explore on your own. It wasn't as fun or rewarding as Subnautica, but the mind set itself of doing things on your own was more benefit to us than trying to jump through the hoops UWE were holding out. Me and my roomate played BZ like we did Subnautica, we just explored on our own and ignored the "story" This is how we were able to find all the things without resorting to wikis on the internet. It's done so poorly trying to follow the game's "intended path" will confuse you. Originally posted by dragonbornzyra:My advice is to stop treating Below Zero like a story driven game. |
